Educational Q&A

The verse underscores that the destructive force unleashed in unrighteous conflict reverberates beyond human society, symbolically disturbing the entire cosmic order—sky, waters, and the underworld—along with nature (mountains and forests).

Sañjaya, as narrator, uses sweeping cosmological imagery to describe the intensity of the ongoing battle, portraying it as so overwhelming that it seems to shake all realms and the natural world.
