अहं त्वामनुजानामि जहि कर्ण धनंजय । मन्युं च मा कृथा: पार्थ यन्मयोक्तोडसि दारुणम्,धनंजय! मैं तुम्हें आज्ञा देता हूँ, कर्णका वध करो। पार्थ! मैंने जो तुमसे कठोर वचन कहा है, उसके लिये खेद न करना
ahaṃ tvām anujānāmi jahi karṇa dhanañjaya | manyuṃ ca mā kṛthāḥ pārtha yan mayokto 'si dāruṇam ||
Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: “Aku memberi izin kepadamu—bunuhlah Karṇa, wahai Dhanañjaya. Dan wahai Pārtha, janganlah menyimpan dendam kerana kata-kata keras yang telah aku ucapkan kepadamu.”
