अर्जुनकर्णसंनिपातवर्णनम् / The Convergence of Arjuna and Karṇa
भीमसेनप्रभावात्तु यज्जीवामि धनंजय । बहुनात्र किमुक्तेन नाहं तत् सोढुमुत्सहे,योद्धाओंमें श्रेष्ठ वीर! उसने युद्धमें मेरा पीछा करके जहाँ-तहाँ मुझे अपमानित करते हुए बहुत-से कटुवचन सुनाये हैं--इसमें संशय नहीं है। धनंजय! मैं इस समय भीमसेनके प्रभावसे ही जीवित हूँ। यहाँ अधिक कहनेसे क्या लाभ? मैं उस अपमानको किसी प्रकार सह नहीं सकता
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | bhīmasena-prabhāvāt tu yaj jīvāmi dhanañjaya | bahunātra kim uktena nāhaṃ tat soḍhum utsahe ||
Yudhiṣṭhira berkata: “Wahai Dhanañjaya, hanya kerana kekuatan Bhīmasena aku masih hidup. Apa gunanya berkata panjang di sini? Aku tidak punya daya untuk menanggung kehinaan itu.”
