तेषामापततां शब्दस्तीव्र आसीद् विशाम्पते
teṣām āpatatāṃ śabdas tīvra āsīd viśāmpate
Sañjaya berkata: “Wahai tuan rakyat jelata, ketika mereka menyerbu masuk, bunyi serangan mereka amat tajam, dahsyat, dan menggentarkan.”
