धर्मरहस्योपदेशः

Dharma-rahasya Instruction: Vows, Truth, and Non-injury

अज्ञातवासं वसता विराटनगरे तदा | द्रौपद्या: प्रियकामेन केवलं बाहुसंश्रयात्‌

ajñātavāsaṃ vasatā virāṭanagare tadā | draupadyāḥ priyakāmena kevalaṃ bāhusaṃśrayāt ||

Sañjaya berkata: Pada waktu itu, ketika hidup dalam penyamaran di kota Virāṭa, dia bertindak semata-mata dengan bersandar pada kekuatan lengannya sendiri, didorong oleh hasrat untuk menyenangkan Draupadī. Baris ini menegaskan etika seorang kesatria: memikul tanggungjawab sendiri dan kewajipan melindungi—memilih keberanian yang langsung dan bersifat jasmani, bukan bergantung pada orang lain, apabila maruah dan kesejahteraan insan yang dikasihi dipertaruhkan.
