बा्स्पत्य: सुविहितो नायकेन विपश्चिता । नृत्यतीव महाव्यूह: परेषां भयमादधत्,विद्वान् सेनापति कर्णके द्वारा बृहस्पतिकी बतायी हुई रीतिके अनुसार भलीभाँति रचा गया वह महान् व्यूह शत्रुओंके मनमें भय उत्पन्न करता हुआ नृत्य-सा कर रहा था
bārhaspatyaḥ suvihito nāyakena vipaścitā | nṛtyatīva mahāvyūhaḥ pareṣāṃ bhayam ādadat ||
Sañjaya berkata: Formasi perang yang besar itu—disusun dengan amat teliti oleh panglima yang bijaksana menurut tata strategi yang diajarkan oleh Bṛhaspati—seakan menari, namun menanam ketakutan ke dalam hati pihak lawan.
