मित्रप्रतीक्षया शल्य धृतराष्ट्रस्य चोभयो:

mitrapratīkṣayā śalya dhṛtarāṣṭrasya cobhayoḥ

Karna berkata: “Wahai Śalya, demi menghormati persahabatan—dan juga demi Dhṛtarāṣṭra dalam kedua-dua hal (pada kedua-dua sisi)—….”
