कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line

देवा ऊचु अस्मत्तेजोबलं यावत्‌ तावदद्विगुणमाहवे । तेषामिति हि मन्यामो दृष्टतेजोबला हि ते

devā ūcuḥ asmat-tejo-balaṁ yāvat tāvad adviguṇam āhave | teṣām iti hi manyāmo dṛṣṭa-tejo-balā hi te ||

Para dewa berkata: “Di medan perang, sebanyak mana pun sinar keagungan dan kekuatan yang kami miliki, kaum Daitya memiliki dua kali ganda. Demikianlah penilaian kami, kerana kami telah menyaksikan sendiri keperkasaan dan cahaya mereka.”
