कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
निपातात्तव शस्त्राणां शरीरे याभवद् रुजा | तया ते मानुषं कर्म व्यपोर्द भूगुनन्दन
nipātāt tava śastrāṇāṃ śarīre yābhavad rujā | tayā te mānuṣaṃ karma vyapod bhṛgunandana, gṛhāṇāstrāṇi divyāni matsakāśād yathepsitam ||
Maheśvara bersabda: “Wahai keturunan Bhṛgu, luka pada tubuhmu akibat hentaman senjata kaum Daitya itu, dengan kesannya sendiri telah menghapus batas-batas perbuatan yang sekadar manusia bagimu—maka engkau kini sebanding dengan para dewa. Oleh itu, terimalah daripadaku, menurut kehendakmu, segala astra dan senjata ilahi.”
