कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line

ततो नारायणस्तस्माच्छर भागाद्‌ विनि:सृतः । वृषरूपं समास्थाय उज्जहार महारथम्‌,तब भगवान्‌ नारायणने उस बाणके एक भागसे बाहर निकलकर वृषभका रूप धारण करके भगवान्‌ शिवके विशाल रथको ऊपर उठाया

tato nārāyaṇas tasmāc chara-bhāgād viniḥsṛtaḥ | vṛṣa-rūpaṃ samāsthāya ujjahāra mahā-ratham ||

Maka Nārāyaṇa pun muncul daripada sebahagian anak panah itu. Dengan mengambil rupa seekor lembu jantan, baginda mengangkat kereta perang agung—ratha luas milik Śiva—lalu menzahirkan kuasa ketuhanan yang melindungi yang benar dan merendahkan kesombongan, walau di tengah keganasan perang.
