duryodhana uvāca | pitṛdevarṣisaṅghebhyo bhaye datte mahātmanā | satkṛtya śaṅkaraṃ prāha brahmā lokahitaṃ vacaḥ ||
Duryodhana berkata: “Wahai Raja! Setelah Śiva yang berhati agung mengurniakan ketakutan lenyap (abhaya) kepada himpunan para Pitṛ, para dewa dan para resi, Brahmā—setelah memuliakan Śaṅkara dengan sewajarnya—mengucapkan kata-kata demi kesejahteraan segala alam, demikian—”
