अथवाप्येक एवाहं योत्स्यामि कुरुनन्दन । पश्य वीर्य ममाद्य त्वं संग्रामे दहतो रिपून्,अथवा कुरुनन्दन! आज मैं अकेला ही युद्ध करूँगा। तुम संग्राममें शत्रुओंको दग्ध करते हुए मेरे पराक्रमको देख लेना
athavāpy eka evāhaṁ yotsyāmi kurunandana | paśya vīrya mamādya tvaṁ saṅgrāme dahato ripūn ||
Atau jika perlu, hari ini aku akan bertempur seorang diri, wahai putera Kuru. Saksikanlah keperwiraanku di medan perang, ketika aku membakar hangus barisan musuh.
