अध्याय २९: कर्णस्य शल्यं प्रति शापस्मरणं च युद्धनिश्चयः | Chapter 29: Karṇa recalls curses to Śalya and declares resolve for battle
अथ विस्फार्य गाण्डीवं रथे नृत्यन्निवार्जुन: । शरसम्बाधमकरोत् खं दिश: प्रदिशस्तथा,इसके बाद रथपर नृत्य करते हुए-से अर्जुनने गाण्डीव धनुषको फैलाकर आकाश, दिशा और विदिशाओंको बाणोंसे भर दिया
atha visphārya gāṇḍīvaṃ rathe nṛtyann iva arjunaḥ | śara-sambādham akarot khaṃ diśaḥ pradiśas tathā ||
Sañjaya berkata: Lalu Arjuna, seolah-olah menari di atas keretanya, menarik busur Gāṇḍīva hingga tegang sepenuhnya, lalu memenuhi langit—beserta segala arah dan penjuru antara—dengan hujan anak panah yang rapat dan lebat.
