कर्णस्य दानप्रतिज्ञा–शल्योपदेश–वाक्ययुद्धम्

हयैश्न पतितैस्तत्र नरैश्न विनिपातितै: । अगम्यरूपा पृथिवी क्षणेन समपद्यत
hayaiś ca patitais tatra naraiś ca vinipātitaiḥ | agamyārūpā pṛthivī kṣaṇena samapadyata rājendra ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Wahai raja, di tempat itu bumi, dipenuhi kuda yang rebah dan manusia yang ditumpaskan serta dihempas ke tanah, sekelip mata menjadi begitu terhalang dan menggerunkan rupanya sehingga hampir mustahil untuk melaluinya.”
