Śalya Appointed as Karṇa’s Sārathi; Discourse on Praise, Blame, and Beneficial Counsel (कर्णस्य शल्यसारथ्यं तथा स्तवनिन्दाविचारः)

तिष्ठ तिछेति संक्रुद्धो हार्दिक्यं प्रत्यभाषत । तत्पश्चात्‌ द्रपदके बलवान पुत्रने दूसरा धनुष हाथमें लेकर कृतवर्मासे क्रोधपूर्वक कहा --'अरे! खड़ा रह, खड़ा रह”

tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti saṅkruddho hārdikyaṁ pratyabhāṣata | tatpaścāt drapadake balavān putrane dvitīyaṁ dhanuṣ hastam ānīya kṛtavarmāse krodhapūrvakaṁ uvāca—'are! khaḍā raha, khaḍā raha' |

Sañjaya berkata: Dalam kemarahan yang membara, dia menjerit kepada Hārdikya (Kṛtavarmā), “Berdiri! Berdiri!” Sesudah itu, putera Drupada yang gagah meraih sebuah busur yang lain ke tangannya, lalu dengan murka mencabar Kṛtavarmā supaya tetap bertahan di tempatnya.
