Renewal of the Karṇa–Arjuna Engagement at Day’s End
प्रच्छाद्यमान द्विरदैर्मेघैरिव दिवाकरम् । प्रययु: पाण्डुपज्चाला नदन्तो निशितायुधा:,उस समय मेघोंकी घटासे ढके हुए सूर्यके समान धृष्टद्युम्मनको उन हाथियोंसे आच्छादित हुआ देख पाण्डव और पांचाल सैनिक तीखे आयुध लिये गर्जना करते हुए आगे बढ़े
pracchādyamānaṃ dviradair meghair iva divākaram | prayayuḥ pāṇḍupañcālā nadanto niśitāyudhāḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: Melihat Dhṛṣṭadyumna dilitupi oleh gajah-gajah—seperti matahari diselubungi gumpalan awan—para Pāṇḍava dan pahlawan Pañcāla, bersenjata tajam, mara ke hadapan sambil mengaum lantang.
