Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 20 — Yudhiṣṭhira–Duryodhana Encounter and Escalation of Arms
ततः प्रववृते भूय: संग्रामो राजसत्तम । कर्णस्य पाण्डवानां च यमराष्ट्रविवर्धन:,नृपश्रेष्ठ उस समय कर्णका पाण्डव-सैनिकोंके साथ जो पुनः संग्राम आरम्भ हुआ था, वह यमराजके राज्यकी श्रीवृद्धि करनेवाला था
tataḥ pravavṛte bhūyaḥ saṅgrāmo rājasattama | karṇasya pāṇḍavānāṃ ca yamarāṣṭravivardhanaḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: “Kemudian, wahai raja yang terbaik, pertempuran kembali menyala antara Karṇa dan bala tentera Pāṇḍava—suatu pertembungan yang hanya memperbesar wilayah Yama, kerana ia menambah tuaian kematian.”
