तौ सायकौ महाराज द्योतमानौ चमूमुखे । आजलश्नतुः समासाद्य वज़वेगौ दुरासदौ
tau sāyakau mahārāja dyotamānau camūmukhe | ājaghnatuḥ samāsādya vajravegau durāsadau ||
Sañjaya berkata: Wahai Raja, dua anak panah itu menyala-nyala di hadapan barisan tentera. Sepantas halilintar dan sukar ditangkis, keduanya sampai ke sasaran lalu mengenai mereka, mencederakan mereka di tengah himpitan pertempuran.
