भीष्मपातने कर्णविलापः | Karṇa’s Lament upon Seeing Bhīṣma Fallen
यथा वायुर्नरव्यात्र तथा कृष्णो न संशय: । 'पुरुषसिंह! जैसी प्रज्वलित अग्नि होती है, वैसे ही कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन हैं--इसमें संशय नहीं है और जैसी वायु होती है, वैसे ही श्रीकृष्ण हैं, इसमें भी संशय नहीं है ।।
yathā vāyur naravyātra tathā kṛṣṇo na saṁśayaḥ |
Sañjaya berkata: “Seperti angin—pantas, tidak tertahan, dan meliputi segala—demikianlah Kṛṣṇa; tiada syak lagi.” Dalam bingkai dharma peperangan, baris ini menegaskan bahawa kekuatan tempur Arjuna dipandu dan dijadikan berkesan oleh kuasa pengarahan Kṛṣṇa yang tegas—menyiratkan bahawa kekuatan tanpa bimbingan yang benar adalah tidak sempurna.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the complementarity of power and guidance: Kṛṣṇa is likened to wind—an unseen but decisive force that drives outcomes—implying that righteous direction and strategic intelligence are as crucial as martial strength in a dharmic conflict.
