तान्‌ समापतत: सर्वान्‌ भारद्वाजो महारथ:

tān samāpatataḥ sarvān bhāradvājo mahārathaḥ

Sañjaya berkata: Tatkala mereka semua menyerbu serentak, maharathi Bhāradvāja menyambut gelombang serangan itu—teguh berdiri dalam ribut peperangan, menjelmakan dharma Kṣatriya: menghadapi bahaya tanpa berundur.
