अजुन उवाच अयं वै सत्यजिद्‌ राजन्नद्य त्वां रक्षिता युधि | प्रियमाणे च पाज्चाल्ये नाचार्य: काममाप्स्यति,अर्जुन बोले--राजन! ये पांचालराजकुमार सत्यजित्‌ आज युद्धस्थलमें आपकी रक्षा करेंगे। इनके जीते-जी आचार्य अपनी इच्छा पूरी नहीं कर सकेंगे

arjuna uvāca | ayaṃ vai satyajid rājan adya tvāṃ rakṣitā yudhi | priyamāṇe ca pāñcālye nācāryaḥ kāmam āpsyati ||

Arjuna berkata: “Wahai Raja, Satyajit, putera Pāñcāla, akan melindungi tuanku hari ini di medan perang. Selagi pahlawan Pāñcāla itu masih teguh dan menang, Guru Droṇa tidak akan dapat menunaikan kehendaknya.”
