Droṇa’s Withdrawal, Death, and the Kaurava Rout (द्रोणनिधन-प्रसङ्गः)

वध्यमानानि सैन्यानि समन्तात्‌ तैर्महारथै:

vadhyamānāni sainyāni samantāt tair mahārathaiḥ

Sañjaya berkata: Angkatan-angkatan itu, ditebas dari segenap penjuru oleh para maharathi tersebut, pun runtuh binasa—gambaran tentang gerak perang yang tidak mengenal henti, ketika keperwiraan menundukkan orang ramai dan beban moral pertumpahan darah menekan seluruh medan.
