तस्य सूते हते ते5श्वा रथमादाय विद्रुता:

tasya sūte hate te ’śvā ratham ādāya vidrutāḥ

Sañjaya berkata: Apabila saisnya terbunuh, kuda-kuda itu, sambil menarik kereta perang, meluru lari—suatu gambaran bahawa dalam kekacauan perang, bahkan tertib tempur yang paling rapi pun runtuh apabila tangan yang membimbing telah tiada.
