Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 114 — Karṇa–Bhīmasena Missile Exchange, Disarmament, and Arjuna’s Intervention
अहं राज्ञ: करिष्यामि रक्षां पुरुषसत्तम | सात्यकिके ऐसा कहनेपर भीमसेनने उनसे कहा--'अच्छा भैया! तुम कार्यसिद्धिके लिये आगे बढ़ो। पुरुषप्रवर! मैं राजाकी रक्षा करूँगा” || ७३ $ ।। एवमुक्त: प्रत्युवाच भीमसेनं स माधव:
ahaṁ rājñaḥ kariṣyāmi rakṣāṁ puruṣasattama | sātyakike evaṁ kahane'pi bhīmasenena tebhyaḥ proktam— “accha bhaiyā! tvaṁ kāryasiddhaye agre vardhasva | puruṣapravara! ahaṁ rājānaṁ rakṣiṣyāmi” || 73 || evam uktaḥ pratyuvāca bhīmasenaṁ sa mādhavaḥ |
Sañjaya berkata: “Wahai insan terbaik, aku akan menjaga raja.” Walaupun Sātyaki berkata demikian, Bhīmasena menjawabnya: “Baik, saudaraku! Majulah ke hadapan demi menyempurnakan tugas. Wahai insan terunggul, aku akan melindungi raja.” Setelah diperkatakan demikian, Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa) pun menjawab Bhīmasena.
