Adhyāya 113: Karṇa–Bhīma Śaravarṣa and the Battlefield Aftermath (कर्णभीमशरवर्षः)
अवश्यं तु मया सर्व विज्ञाप्यस्त्वं नराधिप । वासुदेवस्य यद् वाक््यं फाल्गुनस्थ च धीमत:
avaśyaṃ tu mayā sarvaṃ vijñāpyaḥ tvaṃ narādhipa | vāsudevasya yad vākyaṃ phālgunasya ca dhīmataḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: Wahai raja, wajib bagiku melaporkan segala-galanya kepada tuanku—terutama kata-kata Vāsudeva (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) dan Phālguna (Arjuna) yang bijaksana. Nasihat mereka, yang diucapkan dalam suasana perang, memikul berat dharma dan mesti disampaikan dengan setia kepada pemerintah yang menanggung tanggungjawab atas nasib kerajaan.
संजय उवाच
The verse emphasizes the ethical duty of truthful and complete communication: Sanjaya must convey Kṛṣṇa’s and Arjuna’s words without omission, because a king’s judgment and accountability depend on accurate knowledge.
