Transliteration

tṛṣṇīmbhūtāny anīkāni yodhā yuddhād upāraman

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Barisan-barisan perang menjadi sunyi, dan para pahlawan berhenti bertempur—suatu jeda yang menggerunkan di tengah perang, ketika pengekangan dan keletihan seketika mengatasi amarah.
