भीष्मस्य मध्याह्नयुद्धवर्णनम् / Mid-day Battle Description: Bhīṣma Engaged by the Pāñcālas
प्रतरिष्ये महापारं भुजाभ्यां समरोदधिम् । (तथापि मैं आपके आदेशानुसार युद्ध करूँगा; अतः) “आप शीघ्र ही अपने घोड़ोंको दुर्योधनकी सेनाकी ओर हाँकिये, जिससे इन दोनों भुजाओंद्वारा अपार सैन्यसागरको पार करूँ
pratariṣye mahāpāraṃ bhujābhyāṃ samarodadhim |
Sañjaya berkata: “Dengan kedua-dua lengan ini aku akan menyeberangi lautan peperangan, yang tebing jauhnya amat luas dan sukar dicapai. Namun demikian, demi menurut titah tuanku, halakanlah kuda-kuda dengan segera ke arah bala tentera Duryodhana, agar aku dapat merempuh dan menembusi lautan angkatan yang tiada terukur ini.”
