भीष्मरक्षण-उद्योगः, शिखण्डि-विवर्जनं, सर्वतोभद्र-व्यूहः

न्यषीदत् स्वरथोपस्थे शोणितेन परिप्लुत: । ततः पुनरमेयात्मा नाराचान् दश पठ्च च
nyaṣīdat svarathopasthe śoṇitena pariplutaḥ | tataḥ punar ameyātmā nārācān daśa pañca ca
Sañjaya berkata: Dia terkulai di atas tempat duduk keretanya sendiri, bermandikan darah. Kemudian, pahlawan yang berjiwa tak terukur itu sekali lagi mengambil lima belas anak panah nārāca.
