The verse implicitly teaches ordered strength under dharma: the foremost warrior (Arjuna) stands guided by Kṛṣṇa, while the righteous king (Yudhiṣṭhira) holds the center—suggesting that courage and power should be directed by wise counsel and moral steadiness.
Sañjaya describes the Pāṇḍava battle formation: Arjuna, with Kṛṣṇa as charioteer, is positioned at the front between Bhīma and Sātyaki, while Yudhiṣṭhira and Mādrī’s twin sons (Nakula and Sahadeva) are stationed in the middle.
