भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः
Bhīṣma checks Bhīmasena; matched engagements intensify
अश्रिनौ श्रवणाौ नित्यं देवी जिह्नला सरस्वती । वेदा: संस्कारनिष्ठा हि त्वयीदं जगदाश्रितम्
aśvinau śravaṇau nityaṃ devī jihvā sarasvatī | vedāḥ saṃskāra-niṣṭhā hi tvayi idaṃ jagad āśritam ||
Bhīṣma berkata: “Dua Aśvin yang kembar sentiasa menjadi telinga-Mu, dan Dewi Sarasvatī ialah lidah-Mu. Veda-veda ialah asas teguh bagi tata-susila suci dan tertib penyucian pada diri-Mu. Seluruh jagat ini sentiasa bersandar pada-Mu sahaja untuk sokongannya.”
