सम्प्रहस्य च हृष्टात्मा त्रिभिर्बाणैर्महाभुज: । जलसंध॑ विनिर्भिद्य सोइनयद् यमसादनम्,तत्पश्चात् प्रसन्नचित्त हो उन महाबाहुने हँसते-हँसते जलसंधको तीन बाणोंसे विदीर्ण करके यमलोक पहुँचा दिया
samprahasya ca hṛṣṭātmā tribhir bāṇair mahābhujaḥ | jalasaṃdhaṃ vinirbhidya so ’nayat yamasādanam ||
Sañjaya berkata: Sambil ketawa lantang dan bersemangat, pahlawan berlengan perkasa itu menembusi Jalasaṃdha dengan tiga anak panah lalu menghantarnya ke kediaman Yama.
