भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ६२: वासुदेवमहात्म्यप्रशंसा (देव–ब्रह्मसंवादः)
विद्रवत्येव तत् सैन्यं पश्यतोद्रोण भीष्मयो: । महामना भीष्म और द्रोणके रोकनेपर भी उनके सामने ही वह सेना भागती ही चली जा रही थी
vidravaty eva tat sainyaṁ paśyato droṇa-bhīṣmayoḥ |
Sañjaya berkata: Walaupun Droṇa dan Bhīṣma menyaksikannya—dan meskipun mereka berusaha menahannya—tentera itu tetap terus melarikan diri tepat di hadapan mereka.
