भीमसेनस्य गदायुद्ध-प्रभावः

सादिता रथनागाश्ष हताश्वा रथिनो रणे । विप्रद्रुतरथा: केचिद् दृश्यन्ते रथयूथपा:,उस रणभूमिमें कितने ही रथ टूट गये, बहुतेरे हाथी नष्ट हो गये, कितने ही रथियोंके घोड़े मार डाले गये और कितने ही रथ-यूथपतियोंके रथ भागते दिखायी दिये
sāditā rathanāgāś ca hatāśvā rathino raṇe | vipradrutarathāḥ kecid dṛśyante rathayūthapāḥ ||
Sañjaya berkata: Di medan perang itu, banyak kereta perang hancur berkecai dan banyak gajah perang tumbang. Banyak pahlawan berkereta kehilangan kuda mereka dibunuh, dan beberapa ketua pasukan kereta kelihatan melarikan diri dengan kereta mereka dalam keadaan kacau-bilau.
