अमर्षवशमापतन्नो व्याकुल: समपद्यत । घोड़े और सारथिके मारे जानेपर महाबली श्वेत उस रथसे कूद पड़े और अमर्षके वशीभूत होकर व्याकुल हो उठे

amarṣavaśam āpatanno vyākulaḥ samapadyata |

Sañjaya berkata: Dikuasai amarṣa—kemarahan yang membara—dia menjadi gelisah, ketenangannya pun pecah. Setelah sais dan kuda-kuda terbunuh, Śveta yang perkasa melompat turun dari keretanya, digerakkan oleh amarah yang menguasai dirinya.
