Adhyāya 41 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Gurv-anumati and Strategic Counsel (युधिष्ठिरस्य गुर्वनुमतिः)

All beings arise from a single cosmic source: the ‘great Brahman’ as the universal matrix (often read as Prakṛti), into which the Lord places the creative seed; thus creation is grounded in an overarching unity, supporting an ethic of humility and reverence toward all life.
In the Gītā’s teaching context within Bhīṣma Parva, Kṛṣṇa explains the metaphysical basis of birth and existence to Arjuna, shifting his focus from battlefield anxiety to a wider vision of reality and duty.
