ध्यानयोगः — Dhyāna-Yoga

Discipline of Meditation and Mental Restraint

निराशीर्यतचित्तात्मा त्यक्तसर्वपरिग्रह:* । शारीरं केवल कर्म कुर्वन्‌ नाप्रोति किल्बिषम्‌

nirāśīr yatacittātmā tyaktasarvaparigrahaḥ | śārīraṁ kevalaṁ karma kurvan nāpnoti kilbiṣam ||

Sesiapa yang bebas daripada harapan, telah menundukkan minda dan diri, serta meninggalkan segala rasa memiliki—orang itu, walaupun hanya melakukan kerja yang perlu untuk memelihara tubuh, tidak menanggung noda dosa. Ajaran ini menegaskan bahawa kewajipan yang dilakukan tanpa dahaga dan tanpa tuntutan “milikku” menjadikan kerja yang perlu tidak mengikat pelakunya.
