भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय २: संजयस्य दिव्यदृष्टिप्रदानम् तथा निमित्तवर्णनम्

रोहिणीं पीडयन्नेष स्थितो राजज्शनैश्षर: । व्यावृत्तं लक्ष्म सोमस्य भविष्यति महद् भयम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
rohiṇīṁ pīḍayann eṣa sthito rājaśanaiścaraḥ |
vyāvṛttaṁ lakṣma somasya bhaviṣyati mahad bhayam ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai Raja, planet Śanaiścara (Zuhal) berdiri menekan Rohiṇī. Tanda/seri Soma (Bulan) tampak terganggu dan terselubung. Ini menubuatkan ketakutan besar dan malapetaka yang bakal datang.”
