तस्मात् पार्थ पुरोधाय पञ्चालान् सूंजयांस्तथा । मद्वधे क्रियतां यत्नो मम चेदिच्छसि प्रियम्,“इसलिये यदि तुम मेरा प्रिय करना चाहते हो तो अर्जुन तथा पांचालों और सूंजयोंको आगे करके मेरे वधके लिये प्रयत्न करो”
tasmāt pārtha purodhāya pañcālān sūñjayāṁs tathā | mad-vadhe kriyatāṁ yatno mama ced icchasi priyam ||
Oleh itu, wahai Pārtha, letakkan kaum Pāñcāla dan Sṛñjaya di barisan hadapan, lalu berusahalah dengan tekad untuk membunuhku—jika benar engkau ingin melakukan sesuatu yang menyenangkan hatiku.
संजय उवाच
