भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः
Bhīṣma’s unmatched momentum and the assault with Śikhaṇḍin in the lead
यथाशक्ति यथोत्साहं तन्मे निगदत: शृणु । इस प्रकार एकत्र हुए पाण्डव महारथियोंपर आपके पुत्रोंने भी जिस प्रकार अपनी शक्ति और उत्साहके अनुसार आक्रमण किया, वह सब बताता हूँ, सुनिये ।। चित्रसेनो महाराज चेकितानं समभ्ययात्
sañjaya uvāca |
yathāśakti yathotsāhaṃ tan me nigadataḥ śṛṇu |
citraseno mahārāja cekitānaṃ samabhyayāt |
Sañjaya berkata: “Dengarlah ketika aku menceritakannya. Mengikut kekuatan dan semangat masing-masing, putera-puteramu melancarkan serangan ke atas para maharathi Pāṇḍava yang telah berhimpun. Dalam pertembungan itu, wahai Raja, Citrasena mara menentang Cekitāna.”
