भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः

Bhīṣma’s unmatched momentum and the assault with Śikhaṇḍin in the lead

तत्राद्भुतमपश्याम चित्ररूपं विशाम्पते

tatrādbhutam apaśyāma citrarūpaṁ viśāmpate

Di sana, wahai tuan rakyat, kami menyaksikan suatu pemandangan yang menakjubkan—beraneka rupa dan berwarna-warni—yang menggetarkan fikiran di tengah peristiwa yang sedang tersingkap.
