निःश्वसन्तं यथा नागमर्जुन: प्रणयात्‌ सखा । निवर्तस्व महाबाहो नानृतं कर्तुमहसि

Transliteration

niḥśvasantaṃ yathā nāgam arjunaḥ praṇayāt sakhā | nivartasva mahābāho nānṛtaṃ kartum arhasi ||

Translation

Sañjaya berkata: Melihat baginda menghela nafas panjang seperti ular yang mendesis, Arjuna—sahabat karib—berkata dengan kasih sayang yang mendesak: “Wahai yang berlengan perkasa, berpalinglah. Tuanku tidak patut menjadikan ikrar tuanku sendiri tidak benar.”
