महेन्द्रसमवीर्येण वध्यमाना महाचमू:
mahendrasamavīryeṇa vadhyamānā mahācamūḥ
Sañjaya berkata: Angkatan besar itu, dihentam oleh seorang yang kegagahannya setara Indra, mula menanggung kemusnahan yang dahsyat—gambaran daya perang yang melimpah-ruah, hingga bala tentera seluas mana pun goyah di hadapan keberanian luar biasa.
