अर्जुनदुःखहेतुप्रश्नः — Inquiry into the cause of Arjuna’s recurring hardship

यज्ञवाटे च यत्‌ किंचिद्‌ हिरण्यं सविभूषणम्‌,यज्ञशालामें भी जो कुछ सुवर्ण या सोनेके आभूषण, तोरण, यूप, घड़े, बर्तन और इंटें थीं, उन सबको भी युधिष्ठिरकी आज्ञा लेकर ब्राह्मणोंने आपसमें बाँट लिया

yajñavāṭe ca yat kiñcid hiraṇyaṃ savibhūṣaṇam |

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Segala emas dan perhiasan emas yang ada di kawasan korban suci itu, dengan izin Raja Yudhiṣṭhira, dibahagikan kepada para Brāhmaṇa. Adegan ini menegaskan etika yajña sebagai perbuatan dharma yang bersifat umum: kekayaan yang dihimpun untuk upacara tidak ditimbun, tetapi diagihkan sebagai dakṣiṇā secara teratur dan dengan perkenan yang sah.
