अद्यप्रभृति कौन्तेय यजस्व समयो हि ते । मुहूर्तो यज्ञिय: प्राप्तश्नीदयन्तीह याजका:,“कुन्तीनन्दन! तुम आजसे यज्ञ आरम्भ कर दो। उसका समय आ गया है। यज्ञका शुभ मुहूर्त उपस्थित है और याजकगण तुम्हें बुला रहे हैं

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

adya-prabhṛti kaunteya yajasva samayo hi te |

muhūrto yajñiyaḥ prāptaḥ snīdayantīha yājakāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai putera Kuntī, mulai hari ini laksanakanlah korban suci; waktumu yang ditetapkan benar-benar telah tiba. Saat muhurta yang bertuah bagi yajña sudah mendatang, dan para pendeta pelaksana upacara sedang memanggilmu di sini (untuk memulakan).”
