Even a foremost warrior upholds dharma through obedience to rightful instruction and through humble service; ritual grandeur is ethically grounded in respect for dharma and for the community of the twice-born who officiate and receive hospitality.
Arjuna responds to a dharma-knowing authority, agreeing to attend the Aśvamedha and to take on the practical duty of serving food to the Brahmins and other twice-born participants, signaling readiness to support the sacrifice not by power but by service.
