उपयोक्तुं तदिच्छामि वाजिमेथे महाक्रतौ । “भगवन्‌! आपकी कृपासे जो वह रत्न लाया गया है, उसका अश्वमेध नामक महायज्ञमें मैं उपयोग करना चाहता हूँ

Transliteration

upayoktuṃ tad icchāmi vājimethe mahākratau |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Dengan izin tuanku, aku ingin menggunakan (benda berharga) itu dalam upacara korban agung—Aśvamedha—agar apa yang diperoleh melalui kurnia tuanku dapat dipersembahkan bagi tujuan yang selaras dengan dharma.”
