यौगपलद्मेन विप्रश्न पुरीद्वारमथाविशत्‌ । ततः स कुणपं दृष्टवा सहसा संन्यवर्तत,इसी समय विप्रवर संवर्त भी पुरीके द्वारपर आये; किंतु उस मुर्देको देखकर वे सहसा पीछेकी ओर लौट पड़े

yaugapaladmena vipraśna purīdvāram athāviśat | tataḥ sa kuṇapaṃ dṛṣṭvā sahasā saṃnyavartata ||

Dengan kuasa yoga, brahmin yang mulia itu memasuki pintu gerbang kota. Namun sebaik sahaja melihat mayat di situ, dia tersentak lalu segera berpaling dan berundur.

Educational Q&A

Even when one has great yogic capacity, dharma expresses itself as self-restraint and sensitivity to purity/impurity norms; power does not override ethical and ritual discernment.
