Chapter 57

हस्वेन चैते आमुक्ते भवतो हस्वके तदा । अनुरूपेण चामुक्ते जायेते तत्प्रमाणके,“छोटे कदका मनुष्य इन कुण्डलोंको पहने तो छोटे हो जाते हैं और बड़ी डील- डौलवाले मनुष्यके पहननेपर उसीके अनुरूप बड़े हो जाते हैं

hvasvena caite āmukte bhavato hvasvake tadā | anurūpeṇa cāmukte jāyete tatpramāṇake ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Apabila anting-anting ini dipakai oleh orang bertubuh rendah, ia menjadi kecil; dan apabila dipakai oleh orang berbadan besar, ia menjadi besar menurut kadar tubuhnya—mengambil ukuran si pemakai.”
