Transliteration

kṣattāraṃ cāpi saṃgṛhya pṛṣṭvā kuśalam avyayam

Translation

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Setelah menghampiri dan memegang juga si pengurus kamar (chamberlain), dia bertanya tentang kesejahteraan yang kekal—apakah semuanya baik-baik belaka dan tiada mudarat. Baris ini mencerminkan kesantunan dharma: mendahulukan pertanyaan tentang keselamatan orang lain sebelum menyampaikan urusan sendiri.
