Adhyātma-Upadeśa
यावद् रथपथस्तावदू रथेन स तु गच्छति । क्षीणे रथपदे विद्वान् रथमुत्सूज्य गच्छति
yāvad rathapathas tāvadū rathena sa tu gacchati | kṣīṇe rathapade vidvān ratham utsṛjya gacchati |
Vāyu berkata: “Selagi ada jalan kereta, seseorang berjalan dengan kereta. Apabila jejak jalan kereta berakhir, orang bijaksana meninggalkan kereta lalu berjalan kaki. Demikian juga, pengembara yang bodoh berpegang pada satu cara lalu menderita apabila rupa bumi berubah; tetapi yang berakal menyesuaikan kaedahnya menurut batas jalan.”
